After the closure of his company in December 2023, Prumsodun Ok underwent a period of rest, reflection, and redirection. Never one to tread in still waters, he developed his leadership and technical skills through executive training and courses in design thinking, product development, programming, data science, and AI. Amplifying his capacity to build and serve, Ok began offering his expertise to artists, nonprofits, and SMBs in Cambodia, Japan, and the United States. CLIENT: THAUNG ENTERPRISE
Prumsodun Ok worked with Thyda Thaung, Founder and Managing Director of Thaung Enterprise, to support her company's communications and business development efforts. This included:
- Serving as a strategic thought partner to the Managing Director.
- Redesigning the Thaung Enterprise website, focusing on simplicity of user experience and visual impact.
- Rewriting copy for website and product packaging.
- Critiquing packaging design.
- Exploring storytelling for an internal and external audience, touching upon company culture, branding, and communications.
- Building a business model and writing a grant proposal for the €200,000 Innovations Against Poverty grant (the application passed committee reviews but was suspended due to global cuts in development aid by the Swedish government).
CLIENT: CAMBODIA SOUND BASE
On a pro bono basis, Prumsodun Ok supported Japanese rock duo Cambodia Sound Base. Composed of first-time songwriter Ryoko and former Universal Music Japan artist Hirohide, the band exemplified the possibilities of new beginnings which reflected Ok's own life moment and career transition. Supporting the musicians as friend and chosen family, Ok:
- Hosted a candlelit performance in his home studio, bringing together diverse audiences as Cambodia Sound Base kickstarted its brand.
- Initiated the documentation of live performances in Kirirom National Park, mobilizing an untrained team with limited equipment to produce effective work samples.
- Provided feedback for the lyrics of ផ្ការីក១០០ឆ្នាំ (Flowers Blooming 100 Years)—Cambodia Sound Base's first Khmer language song—mentoring the band's lyricist, managers, and assistants.
- Employed Sanskrit phonetics to improve Ryoko and Hirohide's Khmer pronunciation for live performances and recordings.
- Supported the artists' network weaving, connecting them to potential collaborators and presenters from the Khmer and expatriate communities.

CLIENT: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MARIMBA
As this small but mighty organization transitions in leadership, Prumsodun Ok is working with Executive Director Ariel Campos to position Southern California Marimba for a new chapter of growth and impact. Ok is:
- Supporting program and service development, differentiating organizational value and diversifying revenue streams for sustainability.
- Developing a multi-year fundraising strategy and calendar.
- Building a donor database with effective communications.
- Writing grant applications.
- Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
